Oxford Capital Growth EIS Fund Overview
The Oxford Capital Growth EIS is intended for investors who want to achieve capital growth (rather than income) by investing in a portfolio of small, unquoted companies, which have the potential to increase in value significantly.
The investments they make qualify for the Enterprise Investment Scheme (‘EIS’). As such, their investors normally have significant income tax or capital gains tax liabilities, allowing them to benefit from the tax advantages associated with the EIS.
When you invest, you appoint them to invest in companies and manage those investments on your behalf, on a discretionary basis.
They will typically use your subscription to build a portfolio of 12-15 unquoted companies. This process usually takes between 12 and 18 months, but it could take longer. Capital is returned to you only when they are able to sell the shares in your portfolio companies.
They aim to offer more than just money to the companies in which
they invest. They take an active role in managing the investments, providing support to the senior management teams, keeping them focused on building valuable businesses and achieving the best possible exit for their investors.
Oxford Capital Media EIS Fund Overview
The creative industries are important to the UK both culturally and economically. They add more than £80 billion to the British economy each year. The Media EIS offers investors a chance to support small British businesses that are operating in the creative sector. Investors may also benefit from the tax reliefs of the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS).
At Oxford Capital, they have been investing in EIS-qualifying businesses since 1999. In that time, they have invested more than £300m on behalf of more than 4,000 individual investors. The creative industries are dynamic and fast-moving, but as an investment manager they strive to retain certain traditional values. They recognise that managing money on your behalf requires a relationship built on trust, and they take our responsibilities seriously.
